Our Sponsored Artist of the Month for May goes to our talented new Pro-team member Danny Taylor. Known for his bold traditional tattoos and his colourful neo-traditional work, Danny became a member of our Pro-team earlier this year, and we're really glad to have him on board.

Tattooing from Palm Noir Tattoo (formerly The Inkwell) in Oxton Village, Wirral, Danny has gone from strength to strength as an artist, working at different tattoo conventions around Europe and securing a number of awards along the way for various categories such as Best Traditional, Best Neo-Traditional, Best Large Colour and many more. Danny spent a year working in Berlin, Germany - expanding his knowledge and experience as an artist whilst creating a permanent client base who he regularly visits and tattoos during guest spots.

His work mostly consists of bold solid old-school tattoos, but he's also partial to doing neo-traditional tattoos which he excels at. He's a huge fan of Radiant Ink, which is reflected in the colourful and vibrant work that he produces, and he especially loves the colours from the Trad Set from Radiant Tattoo Ink, which consists of Medium Green, Candy Red, Mango Yellow, Sienna, and Electric Blue.

'La Mort' - a curiously creepy tarot card.

This crisp and clean cactus tattoo is insane. The colours used here are stunning (and all Radiant, of course).

A super-solid traditional tiger shark tattoo. We love how bold this piece is.

Palm tattoos are notoriously difficult, but Danny puts them in solidly. Danny's healed work speaks for itself.

This side of head tattoo is incredible. The bright and beautiful orange flowers flow wonderfully around the client's ear.

Last but not least, a striking Mandala knee banger. Knees are no fun to have tattooed, but its definitely worth it when this is the result!
