If you have the CX2R Power Supply, then the Critical Wireless Receiver is not needed to run the Wireless Footswitch. 

For any other Power Supplies, the Critical Wireless Footswitch is needed (Will work with a standard ¼” foot pedal jack and any of Critical's current, past or future wireless pedals).
